How a run starts

A run starts in the shipyard, where you pick a hull and buy upgrades, such as armor or faster rockets, for that attempt.

What you do

Once the fight starts you click ship tiles to add parts. Lasers call for shields. Missiles call for anti-air. Swarms are a third option.

What carries over

Synergy upgrades wait behind that plan. One mistake ends the run. What the shipyard keeps between wipes is not itemized.
