How a run starts

You walk a painted map until a creature blocks you. The duel is best of three, with up to ten cards brought into a round.

What you do

Cards stand on ground, water, or sky if their movement allows. Turns continue until both sides pass, and the higher power wins the round.

What carries over

A win lets you take cards from that opponent's deck and keep them. Later fights add new scoring rules, including effects sitting on your cards.

Pick this if

• You want the reward to be cards stolen from the deck you just beat.
• You like a pass, and a lane restriction, instead of a mana curve.

Skip this if

• The store tags it idler, but the text describes a card table, not an idle ticker.
• Played cards are gone for the rest of that battle.
